Things to do with the fam while they are visiting in Dubai!

My family is visiting in dubai and it’s been the best time with them so far! Life is always happening but when they come around it’s like everything else doesn’t matter (that much) and I spend every second I can with them between work and personal life.

Dubai is a great city for anyone in any age group. There is things to do here for everyone! Whatever anyone likes or prefers the city got it! I’ve always catered to my parents every time they came to visit, and as anything, as I age, they age too, they don’t wanna do the same things now as they did when they came to visit me 5-6-7-10 year ago, and I’ve grown too! It’s a beautiful thing to be able to have them here and explore new (and old) things together.

I’ve put together a list of things you can do and visit with your parents if you live here or if you’re traveling to Dubai with your family. here we go!

Dubai safari park: I’ve spoken about this before and it’s great for everyone ! Take a day, remember to get the passes with the buggey, you don’t wanna wander around in the heat all over that huge space all day!

Jetty lounge: a nice beautiful holiday destination for sundowners and coctails just to put an end to your day and enjoy the beautiful view of the marina facing the palm jumeirah.

Tabu brunch : this brunch is perfect for family of all ages. The food is great, yea it’s Japanese but they have options on the menu that even the driest of fathers can eat (haha) the entertainment is great and the crowd is classy and nice! You wont regret it! Price is around 395 AED pr person.

Koko bay: this beach club is amazing during week days, you can chill and enjoy the nice weather and so so chilled ocean, the ocean is getting better now and soon you’ll be able to cool off. For my mom it was the perfect temperature and we laughed and drank and ate all day! It’s AED 150 pr person , fully redeemable.

Karama Market: here you can take a few hours to explore all the shops in Karama. Karima is an older part of the city of Dubai and you can find anything here from watches, shoes and handbags. Be ready to bargain, grab som food at one of the street good restaurants there and make sure you grab one of the spicy shawarmas and heck out the juice selection once you’re there! It’s amazing and the prices are too! At least set off 2-3 hours for this as it’s a lot to see!

Horse riding: if your family are the sporty horse riding type then I can suggest the Al Dhabi horse riding stables. Get a horse for each person and ride into the sunset and feel the cool desert air in your hair! This is a magical experience and a truly soul cleanse for those who know! Horses are amazing!

Twiggy: if you wanna enjoy a more luxurious feel to your holiday you can miss Twiggy! It’s my favorite beach club in dubai and it suits anyone of all ages. The vibe, the place and scenery it’s absolutely stunning and the service is Royal all day long! Enjoy a luxury sun bed and a ice cold beer or a pina colada as you tan the day away at one of the most beautiful beach clubs in Dubai.

Top golf: now this is one for the competitive families, get a booth at Top Golf and compete with everyone from your family or friend group and score the most points! I’m telling you, it’s fun and things might get serious! Good news is that they serve food and beverages all day and rates are cheaper in the day and weekdays rather than weekends! Don’t miss!

The pointe: enjoy an afternoon at the pointe on palm jumeirah, numerous of restaurants, the place is pet friendly so if you have a dog with you, then absolutely bring that with you. Enjoy good food and entertainment as well as the new fountains over there!

Pamper time!!: Dubai is full of salons and spas, google your way to the one closest to you or better yet, get a home service and have them come to your house and pamper you there! The sky is the limit! They have everything from mani-pedis and massages to facials and hair care! This is definitely one for the moms out there! (And also the dads who fancy these things)

Not to forget about the Museum of the future, the Dubai frame and the Louvre museum in Abu Dhabi (for a day trip!) easy things to do to create some activity in the day that doesn’t involve Dubai mall, alcohol or beaches! Just purely culture and some fine new experience if you haven’t already done that!

The list is long! But i hope this helps with some ideas !! enjoy !
