We keep it as a tradition that the day after New Years we all go and have a New Years lunch with the group. But obviously since it’s Covid and restrictions everywhere this year was a bit limited so we were just a small group after all.
Yet I’m here to tell you that alltho Dubai has thousands of good restaurants and sometimes we forget about the old classic ones in the hype of the competition of the new restaurants. And just by chance I did the same mistake and remembered Scalini last minute , called them and booked us in just like that. And guess what ?! We had the best time. And the food is explicit!
I can highly recommend the lasagna and the garlic prawns … and pretty much everything else on the menu too.. and don’t forget the gelato to finish it off …book the table and get seated outside under the lemon tree. You won’t regret it. And guess who I saw also dining in the restaurant !? Mohammed Hadid. So you know it’s a classic and the food is good when he is spotted there. Cheers to that! 🙌🏼
