Went to the al Awir old plane crash today! It was a special site, almost like a ghost / haunted / jinned area in the middle of the desert. I don’t know the full story, but rumor has it that the plane crashed there while transporting people and other essentials in the gulf area many many years ago… the second theory is that the government placed the old aircraft there for tourist attractions.

Either way, there is not much info on the internet about the how- and why story on about this airplane.

But … it was 55,000 degrees outside so all the feeling about evil spirits and haunted grounds and jinns disappeared as I was working the camera angles. Trying not to burn my ass off on the metal propeller that has broken off the aircraft it self and fallen off a good 20 meters away from the body of the plane. (More pics to come ! They are not published yet)
In the middle of the shoot, a few tourist guides came with a group of people to the site as well and well… they got quite a show. Perfect timing! 😂🤦🏼♀️ I wonder what they must have been thinking.
These pictures are beautiful!
