For years as long as I can remember our family has had Xmas dinner together on Christmas Day. Dinner and then after dinner we gather the extended family such as cousins, aunts and uncles as well. It’s a long day where you basically over eat and then eat some more and then Drink some more. It’s cozy.
Me and my cousins always finishes this day off with watching the Norwegian movie from 1975 called “flåklypa Grand Prix” it’s an old tradition.
And by the time you finish watching that you are so tired and stuffed from the day and you go to bed and sleep like a baby.
Elk roast with mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies and lingonberry jam. It was so gooood! If you ever get a chance to go to Norway and have a try at the roasted elk, it’s a must!
